Feel the life and history that the inhabitants have spun,A warm street

What kind of place is "Kamidori"?Please tell us your impression.

Tanaka
Speaking of Kamidori, the image is that the old ones are still there.Still, there is a fashionable and pop culture, and I have an image that both coexist. There are quite a few long-established stores, and if you walk a little sideways from the street, you will find the atmosphere of an old garden or temple. It's one of the downtown areas, so I think it wouldn't be strange to make it more urban, but it seems that Kumamoto has the remnants, atmosphere, and pride of the castle town.I'm happy as Kumamoto, and I have the impression that it's a very interesting place. And many of the owners of long-established stores have lived there for generations. You two have lived in Kamidori all the time, right? What generation are you?
Talent Yohei Tanaka
Tahara
It is the 4th generation.
Fuda
I am also the 4th generation.
Tahara
You were born and raised, aren't you?Open the shutter of the shop and go to school saying "I'm going!"When I came back from school, I said "I'm home!" I got the key to my house on the 3rd floor, unlocked it, and ate Umaka-chan without permission (laughs).
Tanaka
You can't do it yourself (laughs).
Tahara
When I'm in business, I eat dinner after closing the shop, so it's late.I'm hungry when I'm eating, so I'd like to have Umaka-chan as an evening snack (laughs).
Tanaka
Was there a playground?
Tahara
I used to play baseball at Shirakawa Park and the parking lot behind Kamino. It was about 40 years ago when I was in elementary school, but I could afford it because I didn't drive as much as I do now.I was also playing at Yakumo Park (Renshoji Park). There used to be a steam locomotive over there for some reason.Only the first car has a bone. Also, when I was playing baseball, I said, "If you hit Tsuruya, you'll get a home run" (laughs).
Seiya Tahara, Chairman of Kamitsu Shoeikai
Tanaka
You can feel the life and history that you have spun, so you get the impression that it is a warm street.
Tahara
We have such memories, so we have an attachment to Jodori. It's like "a town that raised me" if I say it mushy.
Tanaka
I was born and raised in Yamato Town (formerly Soyo Town), and since I came to the city from high school, the city is like a big city. There were overwhelming people, cars, and buildings, and Shimotori was very modern and had an urban impression. And when I come to Kamidori, I get the image of a bright "daytime city".The sun shines in and the bottom is paved with wooden bricks, creating a bright atmosphere. The street is reasonably wide, and the shops on both sides are not too far and close. It has a fashionable and warm atmosphere of downtown. And I have the opportunity to talk to the people in the radio program, but when I hear the story, it's so interesting that I get a culture shock.
Tahara
It seems that our seniors climbed the stone wall of Kumamoto Castle (laughs).
Fuda
I heard that I swam in the Tsuboi River (laughs).
Tanaka
I'm angry now (laughs). But without such memories, love wouldn't be born. And I feel that those seniors are really giving the air to work with young people.Young people probably respect their seniors, but I feel like I'm not too scared (laughs).
Tahara
It's a tradition. Our seniors did that too, and we didn't force them from above. We just do that as it is.
Tanaka
I think it's really nice to have that kind of soil.I think that Kamidori has that kind of atmosphere in the city.
Tahara
I think the same can be said for horizontal relationships.
Fuda
For example, even in stores in the same industry, there is no conflict and it feels like the same companion.
Taihodo of Glasses Yoshihisa Fuda
Tahara
Because I talk a lot about business. There is an atmosphere that everyone leaves the work behind and does the town together.
